One of the ways we do this is cut out the middle man and work directly with a Michigan mattress maker. Also, there are no greasy salespeople. No overwhelming sea of overpriced mattresses like chain stores. And mattresses are our passion and what we do, not an after-thought that's shoved in the corner like furniture stores.
In addition to mattresses, we also carry accessories like pillows, mattress protectors and sheets.

Urban Garage Market started when a Maker & Picker had a dream of having a space to house all of the collected goodness that was found.  After years of working in the family garage, it was time to set some boundaries between loving the work and staying married!

There was a found common interest among the local creatives; the "space" to show off these local talents was needed. UGM had a relentless passion for finding this common space. They say "build it and they will come!" And they have!

Visit us in our new shop (a refabbed car wash turned amazing boutique) or take a class with our in-house DIY workshops hosted by The Turquoise Top Hat! 

We're the new kid on the block in beautiful downtown St. Joseph! Come visit our stationary shop at 615 Pleasant Street (next door to Thorton’s).
